The programmes of Vatican Radio are available on request for rebroadcast by other radio stations.
For Catholic radio stations in Africa, in collaboration with SIGNIS, (World Catholic Association for social communications) Vatican Radio has organised a special system of diffusion for programmes being broadcast within Africa, for which there is no charge, thanks to the satellite network V-Sat.
The V-Sat system allows even small radio stations to pick up the audio signal of VR through Internet via satellite. Through the same system live broadcasts of the celebrations of the Pope can be followed, with comments in english, french and italian.
The necessary equipment can be requested from SIGNIS Services Rome.
The request of authorisation for the rebroadcast of Vatican Radio, free of charge, should be made to Giacomo Ghisani, International Relations Office, by e mail, fax or post, specifying the language in which you would like to receive the live broadcast of the celebrations of the Pope.
This office will then send you the necessary information for the audio links on the internet, through the V-Sat system, and the access codes.
