A call to transmit the social teachings of the Church by the AMECEA bishops following the African Synod.






In the final days of the special assembly of bishops for Africa the Synod fathers asked that the social teachings of the Church be made more widely known.
They said this in their final message addressed to the people of God.
The same call was echoed several days later, in a letter from the AMECEA delegates at the Synod, a letter which includes a 6 step programme for the bishops in each of the AMECEA member countries to follow up on.
The secretary general of AMECEA, Fr. Pius Rutechura told us more in the following interview:
