An ecumenical step in the making as Anglican leader and Holy See open the way for those who wish to become Catholic.


The Holy See and the Anglican communion issued simultaneous statements this month to say that the way would be opened to those Anglicans and former Anglicans who wished to be Roman Catholic. Details of the offcial document concerning the issue are yet to be finalized and will be made known when completed over the next few weeks. The fact that the archbishop fo Canterbury, Dr. Rowan Williams and the Holy See endorsed this ecumenical step together, demonstrates that it is transparent and is not to be seen as "poaching" people away from one following to another.
